Melina was admitted as a Barrister of the Middle Temple in 1992 and was enrolled as an Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 1993. Melina was one of the first lawyers of the firm when it was established back in 1995. She worked mainly in the areas of corporate and finance law, particularly in the fields of listings, debt securities, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, project finance and privatisation. She left practice in 1997 to get hands on experience in management and operations of businesses, principally in the education sector. In late 2002 she rejoined the firm and now uses her practical experience to develop systems and manage the knowledge resources and training for the firm.
